Hub 1 Producer Learning Community Event

  • 5:30-6:00 – Check-in and enjoy farm-fed beef from Uldrich Farms [Food guaranteed if RSVP by Aug. 10th]. Alcohol provided by producer friends.

  • Eric Hunt, Ag Meteorologist, “Where is the weather headed?” and producer questions.

  • Guided farm tour.

    • Interseeded cover crops into corn, different row configurations, and alternative fertilizer programs ie., melted urea.

    • Jordan Uldrich and Kylen Hunt of Avant Ag Tech will discuss their steps with carbon to build wealthy soils.

    • Chris Vincent of Prairie Food and how various forms of nutrients are utilized on the Uldrich fields.

    • Introduce soil health - and nutrient benchmarking, respectively [limited spots for Hubs 1 and 2 producers]

  • Final questions, prizes, and time for casual networking.

  • Present the next Producer Learning events schedule and credits.

  • Be on the lookout for details for grazing and Sentinel Ag PLC on 9/2 at Zach Mader’s farm!
